The idea behind the Simple Crochet Wall Decor
Do you have a pin collection that you want to display but don’t have a good way to do so? Here is a pattern for crochet wall decor that will give you such a space.
See Becca Jean’s World terms and conditions here.
In various, posts and stories on the internet, I have seen people collecting different types of pins. This inspired me to not only get some pins but to come up with a way to display them.
The wall decor is a simple one to showcase the pins and a smaller stitch to help them all stay in. White was used for the original design as the background to help the pins stand out but any color will work for the pattern. A variegated yarn could be a stand-alone wall decor without putting pins on it.
While looking for the perfect yarn in my local Walmart, I found Red Heart Super Saver metallic white, just what the project needed. A little bling to dress up the design without being a big distraction. See my review of Red Heart Super Saver Metallic here.
The design needed some support to prevent it from drooping so dowels were added to the design, giving it a nice framed look to it.

4 – 12″ long 3/16 dowels (or your preferred size)
